Meet The Teacher!
Hello! Welcome to 5th grade! My name is Olivia Haney. I am so excited to be teaching 5th grade this year!. We are going to have so much fun! We will build on our math, ELA and science skills we already have to become even better students and life-long learners. Most importantly we are going to strengthen our friendships and continue to learn how to be respectful, compassionate and considerate members of the Holy Trinity community. I graduated from West Cheser University in Early Childhood Education with a minor in Special Education. I have been teaching for over nineteen years. I have been an Early Intervention, Learning Support, PreK 3 teacher as well as a third and 1st grade teacher.

My philosophy of teaching is that every child can learn. It is up to the teacher to figure out how to reach each and every student. Learning should be meaningful and fun. This means teachers need to have fun, hands-on lessons that appeal to the “whole child”.
