Hi! I'm Ms. Gervasio

This school year I will be teaching  Social Studies and Religion to the Junior High Unit. I will also be the 8th Grade Homeroom teacher. You can also find me working with Robotics Team and Mock Trial club after school.

While this is my 3rd year at Holy Trinity, it will be my 14th year as a teacher!

I graduated from Loyola University Maryland in 2010 with my bachelors in elementary education and a minor in special education. I graduated from Notre Dame of Maryland University in 2020 with my masters in Leadership in Teaching STEM.

Before teaching at Holy Trinity, I spent six years teaching 1st grade in Baltimore City Public Schools. Afterwards, I moved to the Archdiocese of Baltimore. I taught 3rd grade for 3 years, then Middle School (6-8) Science, Social Studies, and ELA for the last two years.

I have been involved in running after school enrichment programs, summer camps, school committees, family enrichment nights, talent shows, and various other tasks!

My philosophy of teaching is that every child has the ability to grow  if they are actively involved in their learning.  It is up to the teacher to figure out how to reach each and every student.  Learning should be meaningful and fun.  This means teachers need to have fun, hands-on lessons that appeal to the “whole child."
