Our STEAM Classes

According to the NAEYC (The National Association for the Education of Young Children), STEAM for young children falls under the umbrella of inquiry instruction. Inquiry instruction encourages active experiences that support building understanding and vocabulary, critical thinking, problem solving, communication and reflection. We can facilitate inquiry experiences by creating opportunities for students to learn about the world through STEAM lenses.
Our STEAM sessions at Holy Trinity School will be full of opportunities to explore. We'll be asking lots of questions, collaborating and making connections to the real world.

We'll use lots of books for background knowledge as well as some short videos from sites like PBS Kids Science to help our students to build a strong vocabulary, develop a deeper understanding of the topics and expand their sense of curiosity.

Our sessions will be filled with lots of opportunities to discover, work together and of course, there will be lots of fun!
